I'm trying to track down an intermittent problem in the right channel
whereby the output amplitude changes randomly and in response to PCB
bending and whacking but no cold solder joints are visible that I could
find.

I have an older Sony TC-FX4 cassette deck that plays just fine but will
not record/records weakly on the left channel.  The VU's show normal
signal coming in during record mode, but when I play back, the left
channel is extremely weak -- barely showing up at all on the left

My ex TV repair man mate managed to pop in to where the TV is
yesterday and had a look over it for me.
First he checked it over visually (nothing wrong with what I had done)

i have a sanyo dvd player model no: dvd-sl25 that will power off as
soon as the disc tray has been retracted. and if it manages to stay on

I just got a 27" JVC TV from an uncle who got a High-Def.
When I hooked the TV up in my room, I noticed that the left and right sides
of the screen (close to the edges) would change color whenever a light color
was on screen.

I have an 8 year old Panasonic tv, model "CT-20G11"  I bought this tv
new in 1996.  I paid about $250 for it.
Its been trouble free til now.  It came with a remote control, which
has been in use daily.

I got one with bad yoke, this chassis is typical "awful" kind with two
STK-792 that always blows out, horizontal circuit is seperate from HV
transformer also has own transistor.
The transistor on heatsink (front right if viewed from back) that
