Ham radio weird problem27 Jan 2005 04:23 GMT8
I bought an ALinco DR 590 dual band amature radio at a hamfest. It is a
mobile. Got it home, hooked it up, everything on the display lit up. I
mean everything, even things that were not supposed to. The frequency
number has stange lines in it. It was not usable.
Tek 7D20 errors 6531 6532 6532127 Jan 2005 02:15 GMT2
I'm working on a Tektronix 7D20 digital oscilloscope plug in that
fails the power on self test.  It displays errors 6531 6532 65321.
After the self test it appears to work.  I've already tried it in two
scopes with no change.  Does anyone know what these errors mean?

Stuck on channel 2, lock icon displays.  How are the channels unlocked ?
(not my set, owner messing around with universal remote control and
inadvertantly locked the channel selection feature).

I've Googled this problem to death without success, so I'm hoping someone
here will be kind enough to please point me in the right direction.
I work at a small company that uses the UHF Radius M1225 in its Ford
vehicles powered by the Powerstroke diesel.
sharp television26 Jan 2005 22:20 GMT4
Sharp television 54GT25S.
When tv is turned on the tv makes a low wheeze (not from the speaker).
Nothing happens no picture, no sound. Only the power led lights verry weak.
What could be wrong, which component could be defective.

How risky is it to continue using the thing?  It has a massive heatsink that
