Built a tachometer transducer using a Hall Effect sensor.  Has worked well many
years but now is failing.  Have discovered that the Hall Effect sensor tends to
"stick" on, even when no magnetic field around, as long as power is on.
On the assumption it's not the hysteresis circuit ...

I have a JVC AV-32730 TV that suddenly while on lost picture and sound and
now has only a clicking relay with power LED flashing at the same time.

I have a Mits CS27MX1 that had the typical PIP problem of no main or PIP
video. I checked all the electrolytics for ESR and replaced all the bad
ones, including some inside the shield. Main and PIP video returned but
PIP video is yellowish-orange. I don't have a schematic and SAMS ...

I was wondering if anyone knows a good cd-rom replacement parts company,
website and so on...
I have a HP cd-writer 9100 series drive that needs the tray replaced. Any

I have just been informed that AOL is dropping support for newsgroups. Those
with BYOA can get it through their real ISP, but AOL DSL is my primary ISP.
They said that dialup customers won't get it.

   Have two of these on the bench with same problem... blown STA505 output
ICs (surface-mounted...pretty cheesy....) and driver IC's.  Power supplies
are so poorly designed on these units, they destroy themselves immediately
if you try to run them with the amp board unplugged ...

The RCA 20" flat screen Combo with DVD is selling for an attractive $198
from Wal-mart and it would make a  great birthday present.  I was searching

Hi. I have here a JVC AV-36501U tv. Power supply puts out right about half
power. Should have 15 volts at relay coils, and I have 8 volts at that
point, as an example of voltage output. All other voltages are equally low,
and regulator waveform on primary side is correspondingly low ...

Hello folks-  I do a lot of recording of TV programs strictly for home
and family entertainment. The station's logo always gets recorded on
the tape or DVD along with the program. Is there any way we can prevent
it from getting recorded, during or after recording ? Many thanks

I'm trying to find a diode for a Royal shredder it's marked P6KE24A.
I've looked it up at Newark InOne.com and atleast 5 show up with thi
number.  It also has another number CI998 or possibly GI998 writte
below it.  Anyone have any Ideas?  Thanks

I have this modem which I would like to use with Windows 2000. It is
apparently a 56K unit marked V92. We tried to install it but the system
will not recognize it. I don't have the driver nor can I determine
which one it needs. It is marked as follows:

Mitsubishi VS-5071 projection TV (in a good shape) has no picture, but
receives sound fine.
Nothing comes up. The tuner works but the menu (OSD) is not accessible.
The tube filaments are lit up.

Dies anyone have the datsheet on a H721A ic. It was made by Harris. Can't
find it anywhere

I am hoping to modify an audio mixing desk so that when a latching
pushbutton switch is depressed, a miniature LED will illuminate to
indicate activation (as it is currently very difficult to see with
black (non indicating) pushbuttons on a black background used in dim

My CTX 1785GM is dead, no picture, only leds blinking. It happened after
pressing degauss button. Filaments on CRT are lit. Any tips???
