Sony InfoLithium Batteries22 Jan 2005 01:48 GMT2
The battery to my Sony camcorder (battery model NP-F330) has gotten to a
point where it's no longer usable. FYI this is a lithium-ion ("InfoLithium")
type with about 90 minutes capacity. When it was new, it worked great, the
time remaining counter was accurate right to the minute. ...

snapped. Does any one know what you call this and if you can get hold
Zenith Flyback...generic replacement21 Jan 2005 21:19 GMT1
Does anyone recall anything concerning a shutdown problem after replacing a
Zenith flyback with a generic?  I have a SL2784BT using a 9-1268 sweep board
that will shutdown after about 20 seconds.  Turning the set back on causes
the cycle to repeat.  I used a generic fly from ...

Re:VS45607 (thanks Bill)21 Jan 2005 12:00 GMT1
Believe it or not I thought I was going nuts. I swear I posted it but it never
showed up on my AOL NG reader. I read your response through Google (yik). They
really screwed it up, I agree with the others in here about that, but if not
for Google I would've never known about your ...

Fix tv (how?) or just get new one?  Thanks...21 Jan 2005 04:31 GMT4
My mom has a 13" Daewood tv that she bought in '98 or so and has kept
on almost 24/7 ever since.
Recently she woke up to find that while the sound is working fine, the
picture is almost or usually totally gone (black).
US SNES Jr with the wrong/too much UK voltage :(21 Jan 2005 04:12 GMT4
I don't know if anyone can help but I thought I'd give it a try - I have an
American NTSC Super Nintendo Jr, the redesigned unit released in the US
only.
It runs on 850ma DC10v on an AC adapter and I've put 800ma 12v into it.
Using battery as power supply21 Jan 2005 04:10 GMT9
I have a mobile ham radio I am wanting to use upstairs in my house.
Would it be acceptable to take my deep cycle marine batteyr up there to
use and hook it up to one of those trickle chargers? Will the batter if
it is in a battery box ruin the carpet?

Mitsubishi immediately shuts off21 Jan 2005 04:06 GMT2
A 13 inch Mitsubishi TV shuts itself off just after being turned on. If the
high voltage unit for the kiny is heated first, then the  set works fine.
Alternatively, if half line voltage is applied via a Variac (just enough to
get the electronic control to work and turn the set on) ...

Today I spent far too much time today trying to diagnose a problem I
have never seen before (On any proj. TV, for that matter...)  I thought
maybe it was just strange enough that somebody has run into it before...
