Well, it's my own fault for feeling pleased with myself... I repaired the PSU but the scope wouldn't come up. Disconnected the acquisition board and it came up, diagnostics complained about not having an acquisition board (surprise!).

I am interested in buying a handheld capacitor/inductor tester. I'm looking at a Fluke model VC6243. The specs say it tests caps to 1000uf, and inductors to 20h. Anyone have suggestions or comments about this meter, or another one I should be looking at. I mostly work

Sony 3 disc CD mini stereo model:HCD-RXD3.Both tape decks have erractic operation meaning no play,rew,ff.Something is wrong in the mechanics because when ever a function button is pressed you get a clicking noise for few seconds of each press,the belts are fine.
