Phillips Magnovox 19" TV  E37589.
Is this TV of this size and model built on the infamous MONO
sound?!!!!
In the front of the TV are what look like two speakers at the bottom

I have this monitor, I took it apart and and checked for bad caps/cold
joint/shorted components  etc
All appear OK, I get a flashing yellow light, the high voltage does not kick
in.

I have done some soldering on my gameboy advance and have created a dry
joint, I would like to know if is possible to test a solder joint using
a multimeter if so how and what make is recommended (I don't need
anything fancy).

Hi group, I have a question. I have several of these stepper motors, they
have eight wires, three of the wires are about 20 ga. and the other five are
about 25 ga. there is no continuity among the five small gauge wires, I
suspect they go to a tach circuit, but the three heavy wires ...

I am looking for a Sanyo laser pickup modal SF-86 but it seems discontinue.
It comes with 8 pins and 6 pins wires.  Is there any substitute I cam use,
as long as the mechanical can fit to my machine.  The CD player I am working
on is DBX-DX5.

At one time, I accumulated 3 'scopes, but due to the wife writing up a
list of things for me to do, I just recently got around to cleaning up
my workbench.  All three seem to have some problems and I'd like to
solve them.
