Phillips Magnovox 19" TV  E37589.
Is this TV of this size and model built on the infamous MONO
sound?!!!!
In the front of the TV are what look like two speakers at the bottom

The unit turns on and then goes into StandBy Mode.
SONY PFM-42B1
Any ideas on what might be causing this and if this is a major costly repair
or not.

I have this monitor, I took it apart and and checked for bad caps/cold
joint/shorted components  etc
All appear OK, I get a flashing yellow light, the high voltage does not kick
in.

Does anyone know the pinout for the smart plug tv like philips? Any info
would be helpful.

I have done some soldering on my gameboy advance and have created a dry
joint, I would like to know if is possible to test a solder joint using
a multimeter if so how and what make is recommended (I don't need
anything fancy).

I have photos of this pattern, just ask and I can send it by email or
put it on website.
Also have tested via tuner, s-video, composite video and component
inputs.  Same problem, can't be the tuner getting into that video

Can someone tell me the number or cross reference for D 5203 and D 5204 in a
JVC VCR M/N HR-53901U.  Thanks in advance.

Hi group, I have a question. I have several of these stepper motors, they
have eight wires, three of the wires are about 20 ga. and the other five are
about 25 ga. there is no continuity among the five small gauge wires, I
suspect they go to a tach circuit, but the three heavy wires ...

I'm looking for a schematic for an RCA VR676HF. It's dead and won't
power up which is fairly common for this unit as I've read. Does
anyone have any first hand experience with this unit?

About 2 years, a customer brought in his Sony KV-35S26 TV. The heater
was shorted so I isolated it, and feed it from a separate winding that

put around the flyback.

I am looking for a Sanyo laser pickup modal SF-86 but it seems discontinue.
It comes with 8 pins and 6 pins wires.  Is there any substitute I cam use,
as long as the mechanical can fit to my machine.  The CD player I am working
on is DBX-DX5.

My Hitachi DVD player, Model DV-P735u, won't play a DVD, but will still play
CD's.  I took it into a repair shop, cost me $18 to be told it needs a new
pickup, but they didn't repair it, waiting for further instructions.

We've got a problem with our VCR that is about to drive us nutty!  Our
motorhome has a TV/VCR compartment forward over the driver/passenger
seats.  Cabinet is metal and you can see a jumble of  TV cables and
other wires that appear to go to exterior lights.  The TV, Amplified
