Short version:
A Tv with a crt bigger than 25" has a two inch black (no picture)
strip on the bottom and near the top, peoples heads look strecthed
(like the coneheads less the point).

I have a RCA tv with the chasis number of CTC189BG5. Turn on when its cold
and picture looks great. About an hour later you here a snapping sound and
picture goes bright with retrace lines. Adjust focus and brightness on
flyback and nothing changes. Any suggestions on how to fix?

A friend of mine has a 20 years old System 3 Zenith TV.  (21" color TV)
It takes a long time to turn it on sometimes.

have bowing on ctc169pg changed blue caps and checked diodes in horz cir
all seem ok does not affect convergence. also unlike most other ctc169
sets this has no pin cushion trans on main board. anyone had this problem

We love our RR-10 and are the original owners (since 1979).  Chromed out
with stainless interior and digital touchpad. I do have a service manual but
it does not go into detail on the digital module. The digital module in this
particular model was made by Essex.

The set seems to click first with the led coming on very briefly
(which could be the first blink), and then there are what looks like
four solid blinks right afterwards with the last one being a really
quick one and then after a second or two the standby light comes on

I have a Toshiba big screen projection TV, I'm getting a slight green
double "ghosting" I guess what I'm seeing. Is this a condition that
means the TV projection needs re-alignment or could it be something
