I have removed the radio from my 1995 Olds Cutlass to work on the CD player
and have the complete pinout. I tried just connecting 12v and ground and it
would not power up. What other pins to I need to supply power to? Security

hello, I have an old fisher stereo receiver that im having a small
promblem with.I dont know that much about electronics and was hoping
someone could give a little friendly advise. sometimes when powered up it
has output and sometimes it dont.  ive checked speaker connections etc,

I'm attempting to repair the above model camera.
The initial problem with the camera was that it wouldn't zoom using the
camera control.  After spending time on the camera, I have come to the
conclusion that fault is not confined to the zoom switch.

I have a 25" Magnavox TV for 5 or 6 years now and recently when I turn
on the TV the picture is scrambled with color lines but the audio is
good. The picture clears itself up after 5 or 6 minutes. Is it worth

Bought it on a flea-market in Moscow, yesterday.
The Plutonium seems to be ok, but the electronics seem to be corroded
after 30 or 40 years of storage.

After reading many postings on the subject on tuner problems and IF
block issues (including those on repairfaq.org),  I'm still having
problems with this TV.
Here's the issues:

I am working on a circuit board out of a mig welder. The problem is a
resister burnt and I can't read the some of the color bands. This

Most monitors will power on normally with only 110VAC.

I was troubleshooting my sister's donated old Viking window AC which
she said wouldn't cool a couple summers ago. Found the defrost
interruptor contact was open with traces of smoke on the case. I
