I just purchased some Li-ion battery packs from a local department
store and am having problems charging them to full capacity.
The batteries only charge to half capacity.(At least according to the
camcorder.)

I'm helping the kid next door swap radios in his Honda Civic.
He's replacing the factory radio a Kenwood CD/radio someone gave him. He
purchased an adaptor connector and I took care of confirming the
connections and soldering/shrink tuping them for him. It works fine.

We have two X boxes in for repair. One just needed a laser cleaning
and it works fine. It was manufactured in 2001. The other failed after
a storm. It is a 2002 model. We subbed the good 2001 power supply into
the 2002 unit and it worked. The two power supplies are different

A customer brought in a beta 52 microphone, and its malfunction is
realy weird. There is not much signal coming out of the mic - but I
opened it up and tapped on the capsule casing and I could hear the

I have this set came in with the LED blinking. I did the soldering and
have found a shorted HOT, R607 the .10 ohm fuseable open, and I have
also been advised to replace the MX0841 as well. The original out of
the set is marked MX0841B. Fulton sells an MX0841-AB-F for 8.27 and my

I have acquired a broken motherboard I'd like to repair, and it has a bad
regulator, marked NEC K3296. A post I found states it is the same as an NEC
2SK3296. Can't find any data or cross reference on it.

I have a Hitachi DV-PF2U DVD/VCR combo unit. DVD unit doesn't read a disk.
I have disassembled it and determined that the focusing lense is not moving
up and down, and I have not been able to see any evidence of a laser output.

I am working on a Fosgate Punch 500-2 amplifier. Someone attempted repairs
on it before me and three of the aluminum bars that screw down over the IC's
are missing. Any suggestions on what I can use in place of them to power up

I have a full Pic but top 4" of picture is lighter than the rest. Black

I have a TV which has the above problem.
The picture and sound are fine, prefect however
I get the above noise from the back of the tube (sometimes).

I'm looking for a ground loop isolator for my audio system and I've
found someone selling one intended for a CCTV system.  It's a passive
device and has bayonet connections.  I'm wondering... CCTV will
certainly use much higher frequencies than audio, so does it follow
