I need to get a RF Modulator for my dvd player and have seen them
selling between $10 to $40 and wanted to know if it matters what I get
or if I'll notice poor video/audio quality from the less expensive
ones?

I had some problems with an RCA TV some weeks back, and you guys gave me
*great* advice, so I thought I'd try my luck again. :)
I've got a Princeton EO900 19" display that's giving problems.  The user
complained that this morning, it came on, but it "moved around ... shifted

My TV has no sound.  When you turn it on,  all you get is a super bright

My ge tv make a loud squealing sound when plugged in. the power button
is non responsive (no picture). tv is model 27gt722, chassis #

The cruise control on my 2001 Jetta TDI no longer maintains speed going up
hill. I have to feather the gas pedal to maintain speed. It worked fine up
until about 70k miles. There are no error message on the dash board or on my
OBDII diagnostic meter. What circuit could have failed?

Does anyone know how to get a Panasonic PV-8451 VCR to release a tape?
We have a copy of "The Last Samurai", which fell from the counter to
the kitchen floor.  It looked ok, no visible damage, so I put it in

ok, found a 0.8A plastic cased micro fuse that's blown, everything else I've

I have got an old Mitsubushi vcr which is having trouble playing, ff
and rewinding tapes.
In order to do any of the above I have to try for about 10 minutes

I'm trying to repair a Philips 105s monitor that 'clicks' when you turn it
on. The power light on the front flashes in time with the clicking sound
(about once a second, maybe a little quicker).
I did a little research, and found that the likely cause was a faulty hot, I

replaced the following parts:  5A fuse, Q4101 # 200165 ("chopper output"),
C4108 39uf 100V 105 deg., U4101 # 200419, CR4122 # 200158,  C4102 2.2uf 100V
105 deg., C4141 470uf 180V 105 deg.  I opened the B+ line ...
