I am working on a Zenith TV Model SD2501W3, which was made back in 1987. It was hit by lightning and the following part is shorted. It is a Motorola zener diode Part no. MK279-22711.

Would love to hear from anybody who's had experience repairing Fisher DAC1506 cd changer. I have 2 in for repair with the same problem- they inter try to unload a disc from the cd mech into a slot that already has a disc in it. Thanks for any help.

I've had this thing for ages but have used it only rarely because the display is so dim. As I recall, I went through the circuitry a long while ago and found no abnormal readings; leading me to suspect the CRT was the culprit.
