Got this nice professional twin cd player into my shop, a Pioneer CMX-3000. Customer claims "left player doesn't play cd's". I tried some cd's and got the message E-8301 in the display.

I have a sony car CD shuttle that doesn't read any CD in the first three trays. If you put CD into any of the first 3 trays, it does not play, but plays in the other 7 trays.

I have 3 perfectly good STK7216 voltage regulators, left over from a long drawn out VCR repair long ago. I have no idea whether these are still in any demand any more, but if they are I'd like to get rid of them and turn them into cash.

Old FM radios never die, they just fade away... I have owned and used quite a number of ordinary table top (or portable) radios in my life. All of them tend to go bad in the same way after some 10 years or so: they do not "hold the station" and

Orion VHS player model VP-0040, ~1995 mfg. I have the above VHS player, that will occasionally jam when unloading the tape. Fixed once, but came back 3 days later with a tape stuck in it and the mech jammed again.

NAD 7020e receiver just failed most strangely. If only one source is connected to the appropriate input (such as CD), the signal can be heard on both channels at about 1/2 volume when tape monitor or video is selected. Tuner is also audible regardless of which input is selected.

I have a Sony CDP-CE315 CD changer. The display doesn't work. Well, that's not quite true; sometimes, once in a while, the display does work for about 5 minutes. There are no buttons on the remote for disabling the display.
