FS: STK7216 Voltage Regulators01 Sep 2004 00:13 GMT1
I have 3 perfectly good STK7216 voltage regulators, left over from a
long drawn out VCR repair long ago. I have no idea whether these are
still in any demand any more, but if they are I'd like to get rid of
them and turn them into cash.
What happens to old FM radios?31 Aug 2004 23:15 GMT32
Old FM radios never die, they just fade away...
I have owned and used quite a number of ordinary table top (or
portable) radios in my life. All of them tend to go bad in the same
way after some 10 years or so: they do not "hold the station" and
Mitsubishi TV has a bad cap or two.....31 Aug 2004 22:29 GMT10
Got this set in the other day, model CS-28EX1C. This is a 26" set from
'93. It came in dead, and once I got it going (replaced the STR regulator)
it was apparent there were other problems. There was some raster shrinkage
at the top, and the whole picture - though very clear - has ...

There seem to be plenty in the states but when you find the shipping
charges they make to cost uneconomic, so my question is does anyone

NAD 7020e has its signals crossed31 Aug 2004 13:05 GMT4
NAD 7020e receiver just failed most strangely. If only one source is connected to the appropriate input (such as CD),
the signal can be heard on both channels at about 1/2 volume when tape monitor or video is selected. Tuner is also
audible regardless of which input is selected.

I have a Sony CDP-CE315 CD changer. The display doesn't work. Well, that's
not quite true; sometimes, once in a while, the display does work for about
5 minutes.
There are no buttons on the remote for disabling the display.
