Got a 27" TV, several years old, that the vertical seems to have gone bad in. All I have is a thin, bright, horizontal line approx mid-screen. I'm thinking of opening it up, pulling the vertical board, and replacing it. Should that work?

I have several (obsolete) copies of a diode/rectifiers and need the specs on it: SJ304(e-f). I have located it via a few online sellers, however, they do not have any info on that device ..except that it was made by Marconi. Appreciate the help,

I bought a used Panasonic AG1980P SVHS VCR but the first time I used it I find I am unable to turn it off. The power button does nothing. Neither does the remote. I have to unplug it. The display panel reads "d U 10" and the "d" is flashing. The manual says a "d" means "dew" ...
