Thinkpad A31 laptop motherboard, no power-on.  It looks like either somebody
went revese-polarity with the wrong power supply, or the crappy solder
connection at the power supply jack caused the fuse to overheat.

Hello. I bought a 25" (I think) Daewoo TV last fall at Target. Up until tonight

The main power supply fuse has blown and I'd like to fix this myself

This machine (sanyo vhr m291) ejects the tape immediately upon

I just discovered that the switch on my Fluke 79 can be turned almost
360 degrees.  There is a stop preventing it from going CCW past 'Off'
and from turning CW to 'Off', but no stop preventing CW motion past
'Amps'.

The thing will power up and the "CD/LD" buttons will flash, then it sets an
error code, usually U1.  I've had the thing apart about three times.
Reseating the ribbon cables helped twice.  This time, no go.
