I have a Sony 27 in. Model KV-27S26 , lost everything , pulled Power Supply
board out and found Cap. burned and Transistor Q601 with EBC welded together
, used to have SAMS schematics at our local library but they did away with
them, wonder if anyone has a drawing or could give me ...

I am trying to figure out how dead my TV is.  We had an electrical
storm last night (SE Michigan, quite a storm!), and on waking up this
morning here is what my TV was doing (Sony KV-35S65):
The main screen shows no picture:  monochromatic snow and buzzing

I am using a standard coaxial cable to plug into the 75 ohm connection
on the back of this TV, and then run it to the proper connection on my
VCR.  I get no picture when the connection is tight.  But if I just
insert the connection a little ways into the TV, I get a fuzzy

Picture has lost vert sync and horiz rolling is also occurring.
Picture rolls both ways.  any common problem idenitifed with this
