the laptop in my bag: I could see water had made its way into the LCD
from the sides, about 1 or 2 cm in.
Now the LCD is dry (no traces of water visible on the picture surface).

Over this past weekend (when I was away) the electric company came out

cable tv was very poor, most of the channels were grainy or distorted.

My son's Apex TV volume increases incrementally to an approximate midpoint

bars doesn't affect the actual volume.  Would appreciate any suggestions.

in a request for help, so whilst I was here, I did my usual, and trawled

Is there an inexpensive circuit board design program?24 May 2004 22:49 GMT4
This may be an oxymoron, but is there an inexpensive circuit board
design program out there, one that I wouldn't have to mortgage my home
to purchase? All I need to do is to design some 2-layer circuit boards.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

When we switch on the A/C (or just the fan), the unit inside the house
comes on but the outside fan does not run. Importantly when the A/C
unit is switched on or off, we can hear the "clicking" sound in the
outside unit. Also power seems to be coming to the outside unit (this

I was given a Commodore 1084S (Philips-built) monitor, that I would

quite versatile monitor, as it has CVBS, L/C, RGB analog and
RGB-digital inputs.
