Hello, I have two m1823 20" monitors, very sturdily built that I have
been using past few years.  One has had minor display problems with
inward arced lines on the sides and dimness and these improved when I
smacked it on the side.  Thinking it was a poor connection problem I

This unit will play all day fine. next day unit led flashes will no start up

I would like to know if i can take the mainboard out of the set and repair
it to get the output voltages from the T1 tranformer without all the other
modules being connected. Or do I have to leave it all connected to repair
the set. The problem is no output voltages , won't turn ...

Does anyone have a suggestion or lead to where I can buy one can style screw

   IC "401" (8 pins) in the phono preamp circuit is defective in this
Technics SA-222 Stereo.  "4559DS" is a number on the IC.  Can you tell me the
Technics part number for this IC?   Also, where is a good source for
hard to find ICs?

    Thanks to everyone for your suggestions.  I found the part number
for this IC,  # SVINJM4559DD.  NTE 778A is a replacement, which I
did not have, but I used a LM1458 and this fixed the problem.
