I have a Sony model KV27V22, will not power up upon inspection I noticed cap C613 on the Power Supply Module was burnt out, I found out it was a 1000pf cap and replaced it, it still will not power up, nothing else is visually wrong, Any pointers what else I could check..

I haven't bought a TV in about 6 years. Now while passing the television displays in a local chain store, my DW set her eye on a set with the new wider screen. This is in what I seem to recall is a 9x16 aspect ratio as compared to the old 3x4.

Found this 2SA1608 (body marked YL3) transistor leaky in the LCD panel for the -V DC-DC converter is required for the biasing LCD to proper contrast. LCD's fault is washed out image but barely can see the images. CCL light is working.
