   I have a Sony VCR with a handheld r/c called
RMT-V402, a thin unit 8 inches long.  It works

Over the years I've tried various oils etc to lube noisy/dry capstan bearings
with little luck. I get tired of replacing perfectly good albeit dry bearings.
I see Lubriplate is good to 350 degrees. Anybody try it or find something that
lasts and doesn't gum up in a couple weeks?

What are typical voltages P/P or RMS on fly-back transformers, anode
cups etc?
I'm looking at HV probes for my oscilloscope. a 2kV one is cheap enough
but 15kV is a little out my budget for a few weeks.

Being tired, I forgot to use the 220/110 V trafo ( my 3336B being USA

This machine got caught up in a major leak during a storm! Stripping it
revealed water damage on the main processor (PTL) board. I thoroughly
