My handycam has developed a playback problems...hoping to find help here.
When looking at tapes made on this recorder, it seemed to hesitate (motion
and sound stopped) for a split second.  This happens every couple of seconds

I recently had one of those Pioneer tuners came in my shop with a
strange problem. It can work properly for two weeks or so, then audio
is completely muted. When it fails, I can see there are no output from

what is the best way to make an isolation xformer.  have a good sized
boneyard of many tv parts, shoudl i just find two xformers and place back to
back? which type? i dont use one, so havent made one yet.  i didi see a

sharp we got in is drifting on the signal, only seems to be drifting in and
out of signal for first minute or two, then seems to stay locked ok.
checked by adding heat with heat gun to tuner, seemed to make it lock, then

I have a Sony CCD-TR96 camcorder that has developed a problem:
I start recording and within a minute the unit begins beeping and I see a
black, flashing triangle pointing up in the viewfinder.  The owners manual
refers to this warning as "some other trouble has occurred" warning.
