Someone asked me to explain to them how the electronic anti skip
function used in portable and car CD players worked and while I knew it
involved buffering the audio, I got thoroughly confused when I tried to
figure out how to explain that in more detail.

Need help with HP 166x Logic Analyzer27 Oct 2008 10:02 GMT2
I own a 1661A analyzer with system sw 3.01.  Was there a later system
software?  The information that I have says that if you were to press
the Right button of the mouse while moving the mouse, then this would
replicate rotating the front panel knob.  My unit does not seem to do

conductors (often called semi-conductors), where as electrical refers
to the flow of charge through metal conductors. For example, flow of

Interference?11 Oct 2008 21:49 GMT1
Got one of those HDTV converter boxes, and like the extra channels.
But I live near the tracks and there's a lot of north-south traffic. And
every time a train goes by, it messes up the broadcast signal.
Fwiw, the tv stations are all approximately n-s also.

Bench power supply w/ 12vdc input07 Oct 2008 00:28 GMT1
Do you know of a bench power supply that runs from ~12vdc input?  I'd
like to avoid using an inverter if possible.   I don't need much
current or voltage and I'm pretty flexible about the specs and
features.  Thanks in advance.
