Around 10 years ago I bought a (second hand) HP8711a and it worked
fine.
Since we moved to another house (few months no power on the unit) now
and then the instrument stops working (power down). Now it is so bad

Tektronix 7633 cannot accept 7L1319 Mar 2008 18:25 GMT2
I've tried to fit a 7L13 into a 7633, and it won't go in completely, the last
2 mm get stuck. Other modules go in OK, the 7L13 is somewhat longer at the
left side. The problem turns out to be caused by metal cover plates over the
two PCBs that are between the vertical module ...

I have a Wavetek 164   30MHz function generator. It works otherwise ok,
except on the 10MHz band (1 ... 30MHz) the frequency set with the dial is
not correct,  for example in cont mode (=no sweep) dial setting 10 MHz gives
8.89 MHz at output when measured with a frequencymeter. I do ...
