I wish to buy a used (second-hand) oscilloscope, but I don't know where the best place to get one is. I'm in the UK, just outside London. Does anyone here know of anywhere suitable in London? Or on the web? Is eBay any good?

Further to my previous message, I have found that I can use also HP-54112D input modules (attenuator plus preamplifier assemblies) as they are the same than the HP-54111D units. So both parts would be fine.

i am using a lockin amplifier for the 1st time other than a canned college lab demo i have a 5mV signal from a strain gage that is driven with 10Vpp at 1kHz or whatever i choose.

Im an avid DIY-er, but not a pro. Was looking for a good value multimeter........want something that will last and be fairly accurate, but I dont think I need Fluke level quality (well, I could use it, just dont need it).
