Repair of HP 8753A with ROM 1L Fail fault28 Sep 2006 18:52 GMT1
I have just repaired an HP 8753A vector network analyzer which was
reporting ROM 1L Fail at power up.  As more equipment which is
otherwise perfectly good is failing because of eprom corruption, I
thought it might be of interest to know that such faults can sometimes

I need to tin the ends of about 2000 pieces of 24ga stranded wire (so, about

My HP 3325A suddenly went black, and will not respond to pressed keys.
The cpu seems to be running but the only clock on the front panel interface
I can see
is the LWKD that clocks 7-segment data. The other two clocks are permanently

Apparently it was downloadable from agilent's ftp site once upon a
time, but now Agilent lists this product as 'obsolete' and there's

Been looking at a Tek 475 on eBay with no display.
I know this can be a hundred a one things, but does anyone know if this
is a common fault with the 475 and if so, what it may be. I vaguely
