I need to get a daily time update via a serial connection to the
microcontroller in my device.  I need something reliable - this is for use
in a commercial application - but of course cost is a driving factor as
well.

Does anyone know where I can get a manual for my Fluke 8025A multimeter ?
A copy would be fine.
Have done a search on the net but can't find much info about them at all.
Thanks for any help, Boozo.

I'm trying to use the NI-488.2 VB tools to peform a voltage sweep on an
Agilent 4156c semiconductor parameter analyzer.  I am able to perform
the sweep, however, I don't know how to read more than a line of data
from the machine.  All I'm familiar with is something along the lines

HP Agilent 8590A RF attenuator fault22 Jun 2006 14:44 GMT2
I've got an Agilent Analyser which appears to have developed a fault with
the 10dB attenuator resistor or relay contact (poss. sticky relay?) which is
hampering operation of the unit when front-end attenuation is needed to pad
the level down on an incoming signal. It also affects ...

Force Sensing Resistors in sidewalks19 Jun 2006 23:15 GMT8
I'm looking for an implementation for detecting when a person walks
over given sections of a sidewalk.   Digging up and existing sidewalk
to install force sensing resistors may not be an economically viable
solution, however I would like some help in solving this.
AC adapter with higher voltage OK?19 Jun 2006 18:30 GMT7
I think I know the answer to this ("no") but figured I'd check just in
case.  I have an old Sony Walkman which accepts a 3V AC adapter.  I
don't have such an adapter, but I do have a 4.5V adapter (from a Sony
Discman which, oddly, runs off of only 2 AA batteries otherwise).

I'm trying to use GPIB to control an Agilent 4156C semiconductor
parameter analyzer and a Cascade Microtech S300 probe station.  I'd
like to program using VBA through Excel, but I don't know where to
begin.  Does anybody have an example of GPIB programming using Excel?

I recently bought a PM3070 oscilloscope on a second hand market but the precedent owner removed some of the components on the final XYZ board (the one that is just up on the CRT) and  I have no Idea of what kind of original components were there…
