Please pardon me for butting in here... I'm a novice looking for something better than my ancient Radio Shack soldering pencil. After looking around, I'm coming to the conclusion that a Hakko 936 is a decent soldering station at a decent pricxe.

I stopped by harbor Freight Tools last wk and bought a Cen-Tech DMm for $3.99, which is even cheaper than the ones I got thru the mail. And that's with a 9V battery. I like the separate on/off switch, because you don't have to crank the rotary switch halfway around to turn it off.

I am looking for some equipment that is _very_ sensitive and is capable of measuring _very_ small changes in electrical fields and magnetic fields? The device must be able to record the measurements real time. What should I be looking for?
