Cross-posted to sci.electronics.components & sci.electronics.equipment I am trying to identify a mini-cassette deck that is used as for data storage on a Newing-Hall NC engraver. I have just acquired the engraver but one drive is mechanically damaged, so I am trying to replace it.

I have recently purchased the Racal-Dana 1991 couter timer on ebay but without any manual. Is there anyone who can help with an operating manual, original, photocopy, pdf etc. Although basic operations are self explanetory there is a lot more functionality avilable in this device.

whenever we have the computer on, the tv has lines/snow on some of the channels. will one of those powerboards with the inbuilt filter solve this or is there something else that will do it.

Here is my set up, I have 8 photodetectors, I assume they are in fact photoresistors but am not sure. I have not been able to get a resistance measurment when I put a multimeter across it, but I get a voltage when I touch both probes to the hot wire.
