Tek 465B overheats?07 Mar 2004 17:10 GMT14
I just bought a Tektronix 465B on eBay.  It's my first scope, and it
seems to be in pretty good shape - good physical condition, DM44 option,
timebase slightly off but I'm sure that can be easily corrected by
following the service-manual procedures.

Voltmeter at the Antique Telephone Collectors Ass'n show this weekend,
and it works great on the 3V range.  I want to do a little modifying.

I have an old (from 1984) GPIB-PC interface card from National

Tek 2465B horizontal sweep problem05 Mar 2004 17:01 GMT4
I have a very excellent, low hours 2465B that just goes south every few
hours. The horizontal channel and/or sweep works sometimes for a few minutes
to several hours, then  drifts off screen. Sometimes it happens almost
immediately at startup. Freeze mist on the horizontal output IC

Heathkit GR-681 TV schematic?03 Mar 2004 19:49 GMT9
I have a curbside find...chassis of a Heathkit GR-681 TV.  Pretty well
stripped, but this on had the transformers, and lots of caps, resistors and
other small goodies.  Also had the HV supply (this is surplus as far as I'm
concerned, read on).
