Racal-Dana 9087 1.3 GHz Gen - FS?09 Jan 2004 22:11 GMT1
I find myself with two working units when I only need one. They work
great, but I'm not sure what they sell for. I bought them surplus and
made some minor repairs. One had a broken switch on the rear panel and
the other had an intermittent AC power connection inside. I have

I am playing with some switch mode power supply circuit and would like

there a good tutorial somewhere on the 'net about how to go about this?
BTW, I found a great tutorial on technique and equipment (lo-cost, some of it
make-yourself) on the 'net about soldering SMDs:

Got a  question I am sure someone here can answer.  I was about to embark on
a project of building a curvetracer (from an old PE mag) and sat down with

hook up one channel for the X axis and the other for the ...

Tek scope question03 Jan 2004 21:11 GMT5

voltage (for either DC or AC coupled) is 250Vp plus the peak AC voltage,
or 500Vpp.

Technical questions:02 Jan 2004 01:38 GMT2
1 - What is the best capacitor value for audio frequencies running above
100v? (5-10mf)
2 - Can other values can be used with inexpensive standard capacitors for
voltages between 400 - 600 volts to achieve the same result?
