High side driving N-channel Mosfet with PWM07 May 2008 06:25 GMT19
So I would have thought that this would be a simple problem but the more
information I get the more I get confused......
I want to PWM a whole lot of LEDs. The current consumption of the bank of
LEDs is in the order of 15 Amps, at 12V.
DSL phone line06 May 2008 02:48 GMT6
We just switched over to DSL from modem on home computers.  Put DSL filters
on the handsets in the house and also on the cord going to the computer
modems.  When we try to receive faxes only one of the computers will even
attempt to "answer" the call.  Is it possible that the two ...

Oscilloscope for the 'financially challenged'05 May 2008 02:14 GMT13
I've been working with microcontrollers for a while my thoughts have
led to maybe buying a 'scope'.
This has led to the great search on 2-channel scopes that will do

Searching for PCB/Components Visualizer04 May 2008 19:11 GMT4
I'm searching for some (simple?) Freeware Tool to visualize in 3D a Printed
Circuit Board (PCB) with components like Resistors and Transistors on it.
It's only needed for visualization and I should be able to manually draw PCB
tracks on it and make 2D screenshots of it.
What value pot?04 May 2008 00:54 GMT2
My new digital FM tuner puts out too strong a signal compared to my
other inputs (TV and CD).  I want to install a dual pot between the
tuner and preamp to reduce the volume.  What is the best value pot to
use for this.  I have ordered 50K, 100K, 250K and 500K from Mouser (the
New Jaycar/Electus desolder station - opinions?03 May 2008 04:34 GMT14
My Hakko desolder station is past it and I'm looking for a replacement. I
notice Jaycar has a new model in the latest cattle-dog. P# TS-1386. Has
anyone used this guy? It seems well priced and, assuming spare parts will be
available, could be a good buy. At Electus pricing, it ...

I'm new at this so some patience might be required, hopefully not
though :)
About to install a fluid level sensor in my car, it accepts between 5 and
12 V as input so I thought it'd be OK, good thing I realised that was
