I'm after a basic LCD or VFD that fits into a 5.25" or 3.5" drive bay,
and (preferably) plugs into the RS232 serial header on the
motherboard.
I know I could just buy or build a serial-to-LCD circuit myself, but

Question About A/V Receiver and DVD Player01 Jan 2008 18:42 GMT3
I just bought an audio/video receiver and a DVD/VCR player here in the
USA.  Both are JVCs.  (Receiver is model RX-5060B and DVD/VCR is HR-XVC14BU)
I was hoping that the receiver's remote control would also work with the
DVD/VCR and be able to do things such as play disks/tapes, ...
