Cable tie mounts for large cable bundles08 Jan 2008 08:52 GMT2
I'm looking for a heavy duty cable tie mount (screw down) that will take
~8mm wide cable ties (holding bundles of 14 x RG6 + 14 x CAT6 [about
60mm diameter total]).
Anyone got a pointer for a (West?) Australian supplier. EIW, L&H, MM,
Video8 PAL/NTSC08 Jan 2008 07:00 GMT4
Guess lots of you would know this:
Can I replay a Video8 tape that's been recorded on a PAL Camcorder on a
NTSC camcorder?
I have not too much a clue about what's going on inside these machines.
filaments08 Jan 2008 03:32 GMT2
I noticed that the RCA tube manual doesn't specify, for each tube, exactly
what are the composition  and precise dimensions of the filament. They just
have some general remarks about the kinds of materials used in filaments. But
I know from other sources that the FP-400 tube had a ...

All,
I have a DENON DCM-420 5 disk changer that is no longer reading any

Basically, I'm just looking for a product that would pretty much be
Need Help Sourcing/Selecting Potting Compound for Electronics05 Jan 2008 04:20 GMT6
I have a very specific one-off project. It's a small clear plastic
cylinder closed at one end, 5cm (2") diameter and 2cm (.75") deep. I'm
placing the electronic components/battery in it and need to 'fill up'
the rest to the top with what I believe is called a potting compound
scavenging opto-isolators05 Jan 2008 03:46 GMT61
Suppose I want to scavenge opto-isolators (such as the 6N138 or 6N139)
from discarded electronic devices. What kinds of consumer electronics
should I fish out of the garbage?
555 timer voltage doubler.04 Jan 2008 15:40 GMT11
I have been seeing a few circuit that incorporate a 555 IC to generate
pulses at a higher voltage than the input.
Is this reliable?  All I am wanting to do, as an experiment, is to run a
chain of LEDs.

I'd really like to forgive the people who did this - obviously there

To those usenet people using Forte Agent as their news reader, or for

To illustrate, let me relate the following example of using Agent as a
