I am working on a project concerned with sonoluminescence,in which we
have to create standing ultrasonic waves in water inside a 250cc
flask. Testing the piezoceramics I encountered with two problems:
1. The amplitude of the waves, which have been propagated to the water

I've got a PC motherboard that has a 3 legged device on it - presumably a
transistor, FET etc .... with the markings N1D1 on it ...
Anybody got any clues what it might be ?

I noticed in a recent thread that grounding (earthing) TV antennas was
mentioned.
I have a TV antenna on my roof and there is definitely no earth connected.
What are the implications?

I to want to input an RS232 Serial or USB signal into a wireless device to
be received by a PC on a 802.11 wireless network.
The wireless device should be portable and be battery operated.

How do I find this Digital Demo ?
I don't have digital TV, but my Plasma has a HD tuner does this mean
anything ?
Or do I need a set top box to view this demo ?, or will Foxtel Digital bring

The independent is the opposite of the internals of what a -
"transformer" is in this day & age?
You can reverse the polarity on most minor voltage systems -
& it does not even seem to matter! Why is this?

Was at a friends place, he had changed some of his incandescants to
CFL's about 6 years back, and a couple of them had failed.  Opened the
fixture and found that parts of the white plastic internals almost
crumbling away when touched, but only where they would have been

I just need the rubber drive bands (2 per deck) mine are so old they slip.  Thanks.
