Altering a .1" connector07 Mar 2007 09:43 GMT4
My computer case connects with the motherboard using the "standard"
0.1" (?) pins on the board and the jumper style sockets from the front
panel of the case. However, the motherboard only has two adjacent pins
to connect the front panel power LED and the "socket" has three holes

I was hoping to help a workmate out with a simple grey water pump
control using a cheap 12v DC bilge pump.
Starting with a 555 circuit and relay just to get the initial part
working, thought it'd be easy to find a way to switch the 555 off

USB oscilloscopes on Linux06 Mar 2007 08:20 GMT2
Is anyone aware of any USB digital storage oscilloscopes that work under
Linux? I've been eying of the PicoScope, but can't really justify the
added cost of buying a PC and WinXP license (not to mention the extra
bench space)
Simple crystal (4.43MHz - PAL) oscillator + PLL multiplier circuit wanted.06 Mar 2007 05:05 GMT12
Per the subject line. I want to experiment with direct PAL video
generation from a microcontroller, with the minimal number of parts.
I'm thinking that a good starting place might be to use a CPU clock
that's based on the PAL subcarrier frequency (4.43MHz) multiplied with
