Stockstill - How does it work?21 Jul 2006 13:18 GMT15
Used to immobilise large animals.
A known working unit outputs exactly the same as suspect one (which
has been wet and probably dried out since the owner tried to use it).
Output measures around 49 volt DC (Fluke DMM).  AC coupled CRO sees a

CPU thermal compound19 Jul 2006 09:43 GMT5
I had to remove the large heatsink and fan from my (P4) CPU to vacuum
out the dust.  The thermal compound had dried out and gone hard.  It
was grey in colour.  I have white IC/transistor heatsink compound -
will that do?  Or is there a dedicated product for CPUs?

autotrax component library18 Jul 2006 12:36 GMT16

boards and I like the way it works for my application, so I would prefer not
to deviate from this package. Also the people that I get to manufacture the
boards, can work with the .pcb format.

equation, using the same variables and numbers for those variables so that
one checks the other, only they don't give the same answers?  Case in point,
the calculation for inductance of a single-layer air-core ...
What's happening to Jaycarand Harvey Norman?18 Jul 2006 03:01 GMT12
I've seen posts here refer to the movement of DSE away from electronics
components and stuff to consumer goods, and the vast lowering of staff

only to find that the salesman knew nothing about those ...
