| Anyone know of a weatherproof 240vAC-12vDC power supply? | 30 Jul 2006 14:13 GMT | 4 |
Probably hundreds out there, but I wondered if anyone knew of a model that is reasonably weatherproof. Are any of the transformers for garden lighting weatherproof? Need about 1.5 amps at 12v DC.

These typical UPS systems from APC, et al. obviously can run a computer because they become an inverter when the AC input drops out. I don't believe that the output then is a pure sine wave. Perhaps it is a square wave or modified sine wave? In any case, what types of equipment ...

| Question about meandering tracings on computer circuit boards | 28 Jul 2006 08:53 GMT | 3 |
On many computer circuit boards, mainly motherboards, traces will fill areas with "S"-shaped and wavy lines that seem to meander around themselves, rather than go in a straight path to the destination. In fact, certain (but not all) tracings will often zig-zag (with smooth corners) ...
