Turcaud16 Mar 2006 20:47 GMT4
Has anyone heard from Turcaud lately?  Apparently he got on some uk sport
newsgroups and told them they played rugby like old women.
He also told them they needed lessons on how to play football.
He then called them stupid because they abused him when he was only telling

I am assisting a a student with a project. He wants to create sort of a

Potentiometer curve modification by the use of resistors.15 Mar 2006 09:53 GMT2
Some considerable time ago (maybe two or three computers ago and
possibly back in the time of Netscape 2!)  I came across an online
calculator that plotted the effect caused by the addition of a couple
of resistors between the wiper and the "ends" of a potentiometer.
Microcontroller Edu Kit15 Mar 2006 06:40 GMT8
Was wondering if anyone had a recommendation for someone wanting to learn a
bit about microcontroller circuit design and programming.  I have looked at
the PICs, Stamps, etc. in the Digikey catalogue but there are such a large
number of options and configurations I don't know where ...
circuit to measure signal level / log amp / log math15 Mar 2006 02:29 GMT2
I want to Accurately (within 1dB or so) determine the signal strength of a
signal coming into an amplifier circuit.  The input signal level can vary
dramatically, and the circuit includes AGC.   I am thinking that I need to

Bucket Brigade Chip(s) Needed For Webelo Projects14 Mar 2006 13:27 GMT6
I need to acquire a couple of "bucket brigade" IC chips for my son's
Webelo troop. They are in an endeavor to attain some of their "activity
