FM Modulator05 Jan 2006 08:36 GMT1
I purchased a Belkin Tunecast II FM modulator and have been less than
thrilled with its performance in a vehicle.  I have an XM SkyFi2 with a
built-in modulator that provides an excellent signal, so surely there must
be something better out there than the Belkin.
Symbol Barcode Scanner Software?05 Jan 2006 06:37 GMT2
I am becoming some sort of barcode scanner junkie. Although I have no
compelling use for them I enjoy exploring and playing.
Recent I got an LRT3800 Spectrum One unit with a 3865 cradle. I have
found only a Product Reference Guide which covers only the basics.
Oscillator not...well, oscillating05 Jan 2006 05:12 GMT9
I have just built my first dsPIC-based circuit, with a 30F3011 and
20MHz oscillator. However, I cannot get the thing to talk to my ICD2.
It seems the oscillator is not running; CLKOUT is at a constant 5V and
CLKIN is close to ground (I am using an oscillator with built-in caps).

Jaycar Smart card programmer kit - hack pay tv?04 Jan 2006 13:47 GMT4
On page 57 of January silicon chip magazine, an ad by Jaycar for a smart
card programmer seems to imply that hacking of smart cards for extra

Windows Media Player Hangs Drives04 Jan 2006 05:48 GMT1
After ripping 2 or 3 CDs the Drives become bush and won't
reset when a new disk is inserted. This in turn causes media
player to partially hang in that it can be closed but is still listed
as an active process in the task manager......
