Electromagnetic Field Measurement14 Sep 2005 23:21 GMT10
There is enough material on the net to suggest that Pulsed
Electromagnetic Therapy MAY just work to relieve arthritic pain.
I am not convinced enough to spend US$1200 or so for a commercially
produced machine, but I believe it should be reasonably easy to build

Ersa soldering station from Farnell13 Sep 2005 22:30 GMT17
I note that in the latest issue of Select, that Farnell is selling an Ersa
Soldering station for 190 Bucks. I've been lusting after an Ersa for several
years, but this offer seems to be pretty much irresistible. Any thoughts on
this iron? Reliability, etc?

has never had any thing wrong with it before, but now it trips the

Want schematic for 12VDC to 120VAC inverter with high frequency switching12 Sep 2005 01:32 GMT3
12VDC to 120VAC inverters using high frequency switching (no heavy
iron transformers) are now ubiquitous at ridiculously low prices.  I would

paralleling op amps11 Sep 2005 01:58 GMT6
I've seen a few web sites where better performance
into low R loads is achieved by paralleling op amps
together. Has anyone tried this?, I've tried some
TI NE5532 op amps: they run hot but seem to work.
