hope i'm in the right place?
we have a panasonic tc-29v50a colour tv, and there is a problem with
the power switch section, the standby light won't come on and
operating the switch doesn't work. when we turn the power on at the

anyone know a good place to buy inductors from ? Supprised that Farnell
don't do much in 20uH.... Looking like I will have to wind my

I am looking for some personal recommendations from people for PCB prototype
manufacturers, who do you use ? My requirements are single layer , 5 pieces
a time 15 x 22cm and 12 x 14cm

I heard somewhere that the leads of common electronic components (resistors,
capacitors, transistors etc), such as you might buy from your local
electronic hobbyist
store, are tinned with a lead based alloy. Is this correct? Any help

I am interested in drawing power from an RS232 port so that it powers an
external circuit, only I am not too sure where to begin. The RS232 port
is not on the DTE side, but on the DCE side. I was able to measure
-7.59V DC and -25mA on the following PINs using a digital multimeter ...

I have a laptop that just has mic in and line out sockets. If I want to
record from a line level source, what is needed to convert line level to mic
level so I can connect the line level source to the mic socket?
I presume each channel needs a potential divider:
