Simple Transformer Question16 Feb 2005 09:16 GMT6
I've got a simple question that's probably very stupid, but I'll ask

I'm trying to build a high voltage (170v) H bridge motor driver but I've
run into a bit of bother trying to reduce the voltage to something that
the opto coupler and mosfets can handle. I don't want to use a
transformer because it's too big, and I only need enough current to

Onkyo TX-810 problem15 Feb 2005 01:41 GMT2
My wife's 15-year old ONKYO TX-810 has developed what seems to be a power
problem.  It turns itself on and off every few seconds, eventually leading to
a total shutdown.
We took it into an electronics shop and they told us that the power supply

Power supply fuse question13 Feb 2005 17:50 GMT5
I bought a used variable DC power supply (0-70V, 0-20A) that was used by its
previous owner with 220V AC input (switchable to 110, which is what I would
want). The specs say that the two fuses on the back of the power supply's
input should be "8 AT" for 220, which they currently ...
