Hi all, not sure if this has been asked before but I'll ask it again

I'm looking to place a remote metering device approximately 25 miles
from my house - the only wireless method of data comms i can find is

Wall jack, 4 foot cord, internal modem, 4 foot cord, telephone.

I have a Fisher & Paykel model DD603SS dishwasher, the one with the 2
separate drawers.
The top drawer has stopped working altogether, it won't even power up while

Does anyone make any ribbon with between 2 to 20 wires that will work
with the .1" spacing on the solderless breadboards?  That would be
really handy for hooking the BCD output of one chip to the input of
