G'day and Season's Greetings,

Single Power Transistor Stepup Transformer26 Dec 2004 04:37 GMT4
Just wondering is there any circuits out there or web sites in constructing
a simple oscilating circuit with a power transistor without having to use a
lm555 timer or any other chip just to fire up a ignition coil or a step up
transformer.
cfl inverter revisited26 Dec 2004 03:49 GMT1
No cfl inverter kits at either Jaycar or Dick Smith on the Gold Coast.
Might as well go back to living in the bush, extracting the knife from
my back (missus attack).
Jaycar were 'out of stock' and Dick Smith don't appear to list it.

Mosquito Repeller22 Dec 2004 22:38 GMT67
I walked by a big bin of these at the OSH store yesterday evening, and I
couldn't resist the temptation to buy one ($6.97) just for its
collectible value.  It's a Lentek 'Mosquito Contro' which is a bit
bigger than a business card and about 3/8" (10mm) thick (not counting
