I have small heatsink problem where I need to "fill" a small gap with something heat conductive, I could fill the gap with paste though the gap is around 1mm and paste might not be a good idea ? is there anything else which I could fill the hole with paste wise ?

I've notice black stains in the charge contacts in my battery charger appear from time to time. They are easy to clean off, but I'd like to know why that happens. Thanks.

I have a touchscreen that wont display VGA in, one of its pins isnt connecting and it looks like its the horizontal synch, would I still get any sort of picture without this? I wouldve though Id get a flat line somewhere on the screen or would that only apply to a CRT?
