I would like to read data D0..D7 from
LPT port. But I have problem with this.
I did a test (found on the internet) which should
tell me, my port is bidirectional or not:

Dear Everybody,
After 3 catalogs closely examined (fischer,...) I didn't find anybody
offering the casing like the one I need for my electronic box. Does anybody
has any info (anything) on companies that do aluminium casings by the sketch

I've got a problem: I have two evaluation boards here. One with a
microcontroller and one with a Bluetooth-module. Both of them use UART
and have a MAX232 already connected. This works well when connecting
them to a PC.

I have a Microcontroller (Fujitsu MB90F347) running with 5.0V supply
voltage and a bluetooth module (Zeevo 3001Z) with 3.3V. Now I want to
connect them over UART.
Usually I would connect them directly. But this might not be possible

I have just built the datalogger Picaxe 18X datalogger (kit number AXE110).
It seems to be working as it should with the temperature and light sensors
that came with the kit.
Now I want to add a soil moisture sensor to the datalogger. The purpose of

Are there any chargers out on the market that can safely and effectively
recharge non-rechargeable Alkaline Batteries? I've always wanted to do this,
but first, they do occationaly explode, and second, it is not very effective,
only allowing about 50% extra useful life.

I'm trying to monitor the 12v(13.Xv) outputs from a cars ECU. Obviously i
dont want to disturb the signals, but i do want to light two LEDs, one for
'output on' and one for 'output off'.
Id considered a whole logic circuit to do it but then thought - can i just

rebuilt an antique amplifier with all new capacitors and have replaced most
of the transistors with modern replacements, which made a massive
improvement but the main amplifier transistors are very obscure and very
hard to come by...

Just wondering if there is any device that would allow me to amplify a
voltage by 1 log unit (ie. a factor of 10). I have something that is
outputing at approx 0.045VDC but the sensor will only detect if it is
in the order of 0.45VDC. I don't know the reason for the descrepancy
