Hi, all I have to build an IR projector. I need to very brightly light up range of about 15-30cm. I was thinking of using some superbright IR LEDs (if those exist) and position them along the edge of object.

Spent just over two weeks there. Got snapped 3 times by those invisible speed cameras. Totaled fines --- $150. Demerit points nil. Go figure? One of those fines in Bris would have cost me $90 and 1 demerit. Lucky for me the bris speed cameras stick out like bulls

Just wondering if there are any plans for the TIVO to be released in Australia in the future? Is there anywhere I could purchase one that is fully compatible with Australian TV's and would work fine with no problems?

Hi all, i am doing a memory upgrade to a compaq presario 2240.It is going from 32meg to 128meg, but in bios it only shows up as 48meg.If i put a 256meg stick in it only shows 80meg. What am i doing wrong.I have updated the bios.

I'm trying to do a simple tension follower for frecuency up to 100MHz. Actually I'm using a BF998 with a R=1k attached to the source, but i'm observing that the tension output not resembles very well the tension input (about a 1/3 attenuation)

I just bought a diplexer so I could use a UHF and VHF antenna together and noticed that the UHF connection for the signal is not connected to anything on the PCB only the earth is. Is it normal?

I need the thinnest dielectric material that I can find. It has to be a sheet - like I can order 1 sq ft. of it. At the same time, it needs to have the greatest dielectric constant (is this what it's called? Where it is the most resistant to giving into high voltages?)
