I love WA10 Jun 2004 02:25 GMT17
Spent just over two weeks there. Got snapped 3 times by those
invisible speed cameras. Totaled fines --- $150. Demerit points nil.
Go figure? One of those fines in Bris would have cost me $90 and 1

TIVO's10 Jun 2004 01:18 GMT6
Just wondering if there are any plans for the TIVO to be released in
Australia in the future?
Is there anywhere I could purchase one that is fully compatible with
Australian TV's and would work fine with no problems?

I've got a garage door opener that's about 3 years old, made by Chamberlain.  Brand name is "Access Master" but they also sell
them under a bunch of other names including Sears Craftsman and Liftmaster.
Symptom is that when you try to close the door, it won't move and the overhead ...

RF Tension Follower09 Jun 2004 12:30 GMT2
I'm trying to do a simple tension follower for frecuency
up to 100MHz. Actually I'm using a BF998 with a R=1k attached
to the source, but i'm observing that the tension output not
resembles very well the tension input (about a 1/3 attenuation)
Diplexer09 Jun 2004 01:45 GMT21
I just bought a diplexer so I could use a UHF and VHF antenna together and
noticed that the UHF connection for the signal is not connected
to anything on the PCB only the earth is.
Is it normal?
Batteries08 Jun 2004 16:46 GMT6
By the way, does anyone recharge non-rechargeable batteries? About three years
ago when I was still a kid (age 14), I came up with this idea in a dream. Since
then I've recharged batteries at least hundreds of times and only have had
about 10 explosions. Any clue if this is wise to ...

ANALOG DEVICES.  I am controlling it using a PIC. The problem is,
regardless of what I put on SIN, SOUT is stuck HI.  Is there some sort

Best dielectric material?08 Jun 2004 05:09 GMT14
I need the thinnest dielectric material that I can find. It has to be a
sheet - like I can order 1 sq ft. of it. At the same time, it needs to have
the greatest dielectric constant (is this what it's called? Where it is the
most resistant to giving into high voltages?)
