the functionality of the card. But i am stuck with a custom made IC.

Friend of mine bought a Conia 80cm TV a little while ago. It has a

like a crap TV and was wondering if it's possible to get schematics
and/or service mode info for these TV's.

Where to buy large analog current & voltage meters for education lab ?30 May 2004 11:51 GMT2
We are looking for large analog meters that can be used with young students
to learn about electricity, voltage and current.
Seems like I remember seeing them with terminals for banana plugs or finger
tightening wires to the meter.
Desktop and Stereo Overloading a Line?30 May 2004 04:58 GMT8
I hooked up a line out on my new desktop PC to the auxiliary in on my
650 watt stereo.  Everything was great for a day or so, then my
computer froze.  Because I didn't know these new computers turn off
when frozen by holding the power button in for a few seconds, I
motor speed sensing30 May 2004 00:36 GMT3
Hi, i'd like to sense the speed of a motor by pointing a light source to
it and capturing the reflected signal from it. The motor is enclosed but
there are a couple of holes at the bottom of the case to which i could
attach a reflecting film or something like that.
reversing an AC motor30 May 2004 00:21 GMT6
I've been trying to reverse the direction of an AC fan motor without
taking it apart and changing things.
It doesn't have any brushes, it is just a solid core inside an
electromagnet.
EI Transformer Cores29 May 2004 20:42 GMT1
I'm thinking of atempting to roll my own power and output trannys for a
guitar amp.  I have an electronics background, but never delved very
deeply into transformer construction.
Does the term "core area" apply to the entire EI frame, or just the part
OpAmp - easy question29 May 2004 20:04 GMT1
Hey--
9V is a weird voltage in a lot of projects. We used OpAmps in an
entry-level EE course where we had access to bench power supplies and
could dial in 9V.

Soldering TSOP/TSSOP devices29 May 2004 12:02 GMT2
I don't have much experience with SMT and am now in a position where I have
to mount a TSSOP packaged device to complete a project.  I'm on a low budget
(student) and have failed so far to locate a hobbyist group in my area that
might show me the way.
Pressure Sensor29 May 2004 11:41 GMT1
Is there such a device that will provide a linear output dependant on the
pressure applied.  This must be small and able to fit into a pressure
sensing mat.  I have searched the net and can only find gas pressure
sensors, I probably don't know what to search for.
drawing schematics using text symbols29 May 2004 11:35 GMT1
I recall seeing a reference somewhere for freeware that draws schematics
using text symbols. Could someone please supply a reference to it? My
queries to Google have, for once, not got me anywhere.
On the same topic, what's a good font for viewing these schematics?  TIA
