My mums 5400Z reciever stopped working, I replaced a few caps in the power supply that was shown in an artical in a satellite mag, this didn't fix it. I tried another power supply from a working unit and it still didn't get it going.

I am looking at purchasing a wireless CMOS camera from ebay and was wondering at what frequency within the 2.4Ghz spectrum these run at? What about the 802.11b wireless gear, I have a wireless network running 802.11b, what frequency is this type of gear at?

This is a Voltage and Current Regulated Supply with the ability to go to down to Zero Volts. It is not super Quality, but Definately good for Beginners or anyone wanting a Simple Design. So, If interested in a Reasonably Good, but Simple Power Supply

I'm having problems with this annoyingly simple P-Chan FET circuit .... http://users.pandora.be/colin.watters/new_timer/polarity_protect.jpg With the correct input voltage it seems to work fine, but when the input polarity is reversed the FET doesn't turn off for some reason.

I' ve seen in a lot of forums that we can use laptop screens as monitor "simply" buying an image processor (if that monitor hasn't it) and connecting it with the vga and the screen. That image processors aren't cheap.
