Does anyone know a circuit which could generate crosshairs which can
be superimposed over an existing video feed such as from a CCD camera?
I'd like to make some simple crosshair patterns like a horiz+vert

Well not quite, but one as bad as the 1859 flare could cause

I'd like to source out coaxial cable that also includes 3-6 additional
24 AWG wire with an outer shield to carry rs232 signal.  Does anyone
know where I can look for a cable like this?  Thanks

Has anybody here looked into making their own GPS reciever ?

I've always wanted a metal detector.  Not so much for treasure hunting
but for utility purposes like maybe tracing a buried wire, tracing a
conduit in a wall, finding the bolt I just dropped in the lawn, that
sort of thing.

Connecting LEDs in series-parallel like the ASCII schem below is okay?  
I don't see any reason why it shouldn't work.  If a lot of LEDs, like
the 7 below, are paralleled, the total current for each parallel
string should be an average, i.e. some LEDs will draw more, some less,

Does anyone have any experience with connecting Panaview 15" LCD screens up
to a Playstation II for use in a car....both for playing games and watching
DVD's?

   who saw the ACA item tonight where a humble, grey, female pigeon with a
64MB memory chip tied to its leg was put in a race with Bigpond Dial Up
Internet to deliver that much data to a town 30 kilometres away ??

The Kemo B216 kit is a simple IR light beam kit. It has an IC B342.
Can't find any info on it.  Is it Telefunken?  Can anyone suggest a site
that might have a datasheet?
