3 Phase MCB30 Mar 2008 22:35 GMT7
I have a 3 section 3 phase MCB rated at 25A.
Is this 25A total or 25A on each phase?
TIA.
Conditioner power estimation29 Mar 2008 22:03 GMT16
how many watts of conditioner power are needed to dissipate the heat of
1 watt of electrical equipment, keeping the conditioned room 8 degrees
celsius (46 Fahrenheit) below the temperature of the external environment?
Suppose small room and thermically insulated.
58 watt Fluorescent Lamps Power Requirement29 Mar 2008 14:20 GMT7
Please excuse the elementary question, but with

Question about voltage...27 Mar 2008 04:40 GMT10
I've got a question and I hope I explain it right.  Lets say you measure the
voltage between two points, and you have a value, which is the difference
between the two points.  Lets say this value is 100 volts ac.
Does this tell you anything about the ability of those two points to ...
overloading of transformer26 Mar 2008 00:32 GMT3
what will be the overloading capacity of a 800kva transformer if it is
connected to an induction motor of 635kw ? how to ascertain the
sustainability of the same ?
Compact fluorescent lamp intensity?25 Mar 2008 21:30 GMT17
I bought a PAR (parabolic reflector) compact fluorescent lamp (CFL) that
is supposed to producer light equivalent to that of a 100W incandescent
lamp. It is easy to see the coiled nature of the tube itself insed the
envelope.
Most "correct" way to draw a battery cell in an electronic circuit     diagram?25 Mar 2008 20:29 GMT11
This might seem like a somewhat frivolous question, but I am trying to
find the authoritative way of drawing a battery "cell" in a circuit
diagram.
I found references suggesting that the version with two lines (one

Doerr AC motor Old24 Mar 2008 03:01 GMT4
We have this old (60's?) Doerr AC motor 115V, (Model 60455/E 801)
1/3 HP, single phase and we would like to buy a controller for it.
But the seller wants to know, if it's split capacitor or split phase AC
motor.
UPS for high load short time23 Mar 2008 17:08 GMT11
we have a server room in a place that is backed up by a diesel generator
but does not have an UPS, so that the electricity can go down for about
